A Long Way To Go

There's this secret 
That I need to tell
To someone who would understand
I want to know the unconditional
Don’t want to hear them yell
It’s all starting to swell
In search for eternal calm
I tread through these gloomy paths
Hoping I would find light somewhere
A restless grows inside of me
Time seems to flow away
I can’t let it defeat me
Fighting is the last resort
The heart beats so fast
I just need to know if it’s all worth struggling for
Giving up is something I cannot afford
So here I am

And there is a long way to go
