The Manhattan Tales

'I can't be with you' she said with her face so bleak that he just couldn't bear her to see in that much pain, 'we belong to two different realms sweetheart, there's nothing I'd ever want more than to be with you but... I just...' she couldn't speak more. Her head felt so heavy, pangs of the brisking pain were twinging in her shoulder. It was getting dark and the snow was starting to fall heavily; so she hurried down the stoned pathway, on which the crisp orange and bright red, maple leaves were spread thickly. The sound of them crumbling under her dark orange boots her sister had sent from Cortland.
